The Rector and Staff
The Uganda Episcopal Conference (hereafter UEC) entrusts the responsibility of the formation of the Seminarians and daily direction and administration of Kinyamasika Seminary to the Rector and Staff. They directly share the responsibility of forming the Seminarians.
The Rector, Rev. Fr. Dr. Vincent Muhindo is the head of this Theologicum. The Rector is appointed by the Congregation of Evangelization of Peoples upon the recommendation of the UEC. His duty among others is the overall responsibility for the formation of the Seminarians and the running of the Seminary, assisted by the Staff Members.
The Vice Rector, Rev. Fr. ................ who is appointed by the Chairman of Uganda Episcopal Commission for Priestly Formation and Institutes of Consecrated Life assists and deputizes the Rector.
The Vice Rector
The Vice Rector together with the Students’ Coordinating Council help in fostering leadership, accountability, responsibility and serves as advocate for the needs of the students. Working through the office of the Rector, the Vice Rector is responsible for upholding the code of students’ conduct, ensuring safe, conducive and enjoyable living environment for the students.
The student handbook “Life in Kinyamasika” contains important information that all students ought to know, including seminary policies, the code of conduct and seminary reference. However, for additional information, students ought to consult the administrators at the seminary
The Financial Administrator
S/he manages the seminary finances both incomes and expenses. S/he receives all finances, in-charge of support staff and seminary property. S/he initiates projects of self-reliance in consultation with the Rector. The Financial Administrator is appointed by the Chairman Episcopal Commission for the Priestly Formation and Institutes of Consecrated Life upon recommendation of the Staff and Rector.
