ST. EGIDIO

The community of St. Egidio began in 1968 in Rome in a period following Vatican Council II. At the moment, it has over 50000 members who are dedicated to evangelization and apostolic charity. At St. Paul’s Seminary, continuous prayer and charitable works to the poor is emphasized among members. Besides prayer and charity, Members dedicate themselves to ecumenism and dialogue. The movement has yielded much fruit among members and occasionally, students meet for prayers and other relevant activities for their spiritual and social benefits. However, the entire community benefits from the activities done by St. Egidio members.
