The diocesan bishop of Soroti Catholic diocese has not only graced St. Paul's National Major Seminary - Kinyamasika with a visit, but also commisioned fourty-one (41) graduates whose theme was "Go and bear fruit that will last forever" (Jn. 15:16). Notably, the formators were appriciated for their selfless effort that nutured the fourty one (41) graduates.
The seminary through the leadership of the Rector, Rev. Fr. Dr. Vincent Muhindo, expressed the best of wishes to the graduates with a call to grow in the Theological virtues of Faith. Hope and Love.
THE NEW STUDENTS OF YEAR ONE 2018/2019 HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY WELCOMED TO THEIR NEW HOME FOR FOUR YEARS OF THEOLOGICAL STUDIES.
The welcoming ceremony started with the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of mass that initiated the spark off of other activities including sports with the senior students and then with the crowning evening with a special dinner in the students Dinning Hall. Also the new students have been inniated into the Tooor Cultural through receiving New loacl cultural names (Empako) with process known as Empakonation. among the guests present included Msgr. Komolaki from Tooro diocese who has been the languaguage traine and the Lands Minister of Tooro local government, with the entire seminary family. the Igwe comic group have been the chief entertainers among the new talents of the year ones.
The Entire Seminary Academic Family has held an Academic Research Seminar concerned with the current Research Methodological aspects. This was spear headed by Fr. Kasozi from Makerere University with the invitation of the Dean of Students rev. Fr. Kiguddu
The Inauguration mass in the Chapel of Mary Queen of Peace Chapel and mass was led by Rev. Fr. Yawe Mudduse Lawrence with the Rector and other staff members.
On 14th December, 2017 the Family of St. Paul's celebrated their Christmas and end of year party at the seminary pine gardens.. speeches and lots of entertainment ushed the community into the festival celebrations. Grand lunch was shared in common and the exchange of gifts consummated the event.
The Scouts Club has been commissioned after a tactical traininig through the seminary forest and Down Valley, being led by their Chaplain Rev. Fr. Mary Oscar Suuna and deacon Mosquito the General.
It was atraining carried out for three days in the Camp where different training sections have been aquited to them by the Commissioner of Scouts of Uganda.
The best of the 25 year Celeberations, with 2000s of people. its a day never to be forgeton because almost all the bishops attended, with all categories of people from priests, religious brothers and sisters, seminarians, parents guests visitors among others .
The inaugural Mass of the Second Semester being led by the ordinary of Fort Portal Rt.Rev. Bshp. Robert Muhirwa Akiiki in the seminary Chapel as we commemorate the Feast of St.Paul's Convertion with the entire Seminary Staff, students and Family.
The Chamber choir is seriously up and down finalising with the program of the day.
Mass inaugurating the New Academic year 2017-18. The main-celebrant Rev Fr. Lawrence Yawe Mudduse in his message to both the new students and the old-timers (during the homily) stressed the point of perseverance in the face of different challenges that they get and will get in the formation. Fr Larry also asked the first years to use their different talents to spice up the life in Kinyamasika especially during this time of preparations for the SILVER JUBILEE.

The main speaker is Prof. John Chrysostom Maviiri (Fr) who is the former Vice-Chancellor of Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), Nairobi. Fr. Maviiri is also the current Vice-Chancellor of Uganda Martyrs' University.
Fr. Dr. Josef Kisoga, a lecturer of Uganda Martyrs' University, Mbale Campus is a co-presenter.
